CONSIDERATIONS

  • for efficient usage of your wedding photography coverage, plan on getting your actual marriage license prior to your wedding day. scheduling your license appointment through the SF City Hall online reservation system is a simple process.

  • For smaller and intimate ceremonies, request for the Rotunda or the 4th Floor. San Francisco City Hall is open to the public and witnesses a lot of traffic throughout the day.

  • For private spaces, or for larger groups,  it is possible to rent out the Mayor’s Balcony or the 4th Floor Balcony through the events office.  

  • A wedding ceremony on a Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday is ideal. Thursdays & Fridays can be extremely crowded at San Francisco City Hall. 

  • Extend your photo session to include an alternate location out of City Hall. The City of San Francisco makes for a stunning backdrop for your wedding photos!
